In the morning, join
a transfer from your hotel in Chiang Mai by local
taxi (Songtaew) to the starting point (Baan Huay
Pong : about 1 hour drive) for your easy jungle
walk to an Akha Village where you will meet a
Hilltribe family and enjoy tea or soft drink.
Then cycle (mainly down hill) for about 8 kms
to the Mae Tang Elephant Camp. From here, you
will enjoy an hour to 1 and 1/2 hour elephant
ride through the beautiful mountain scenery.Picnic
lunch by the river Mae Tang..
After your traditional picnic at the elephant
camp, embark on an inflatable raft for a 1 or
1 and 1/2 hour white water rafting on the Mae
Tang River. Then transfer to Lisu Lodge, enjoy
a farewell drink and transfer back to Chiang Mai.Price
